This client is a major player in the power generation space and has recently set up their business in Japan. The Country Manager will be the 1st full-time employee for the company, responsible for further increasing their business in the region.

BMES successfully filled a Japan Country Manager role for a US-based network technology company capitalized at $1B. The client required an executive with experience in turnaround and scaling mid-sized organizations 3X within a 5 year period. The requirement was filled on-time and within budget.

Alan Adkins confirmed last week that he successfully filled two senior Sales Manager positions in Seoul for a semiconductor firm that is establishing its business in the Korean market. Although the firm has a history of over 60 years and over 1,500 employees globally, this is their first time to have an office in Korea. These two hires will be their first people on the ground and will be key in building the company’s Korean business.

Tony Moore confirmed the placement of a Group CIO for a global asset management firm with over $50bn of assets under management. The Group CIO will oversee all technology for the group which comprises of 150 office locations in 40 countries across five continents and will be based out of London, UK. The successful candidate was headhunted out of a tier one financial institution. A press release will follow with more detailed information once the candidate formally takes up the role.
