Animal health & products firm asked: can you deliver a VP in 4 weeks?
An animal health firm specializing in pet-related products quickly needed a Regional Director of Pro Veterinary Affairs with sales and marketing experience in animal health. The successful candidate had to be a qualified vet with an extensive KOL network among local vet practices.
The client was unable to identify a qualified candidate through another agency they had used for this search and lost 5 months in the process. The client approached us on referral and asked if we could deliver a result within 4 weeks.
The role was relatively niche and due to the timeframe we designated a research team of 8 to map the market for the first 10 days.
Due to the specificity of the requirement the research team was forced to look for prospective candidates throughout the region including very rural areas. From this activity we were able to identify and submit three candidates meeting the desired specification and open to consider the opportunity with the client.
Ultimately the selected candidate was from one of the most remote areas in the region. Despite location the candidate met all qualifications including having one of the best KOL networks the client had seen in any candidate to that point. We closed the search with 3 days to spare.
