A Swiss producer of coolants and lubricants used in industrial and commercial activities retained BMES to identify a Sales Director to grow their North China operations. Their requirements for the role included strong experience in the metal or tool cutting industry as well as relevant regional expertise. Additionally they wanted someone with a track record of consistent overachievement of sales numbers. His or her mission would be to win new projects while successfully maintaining existent client base. The successful candidate our team introduced has total work experience of 16 years in the metal cutting industry and has managed teams in the North China and South China regions. When we contacted him he was working with a US-based company managing 50 people selling into the Aerospace, Automotive and Industrial sectors. The client was so happy with this experience as well as his track record of building successful sales teams that they immediately slotted him into the overall Country Manager role rather than Sales Director handling a specific region. Both parties are enthusiastic and have tasked BMES with building out their China team under him in coming months.
