At the end of June, 37 cyclists completed a 500km ride to raise money for disadvantaged children. For the 6th consecutive year, Boyd & Moore Executive Search supported the Knights in White Lycra (KIWL) who cycled from Nikko to Ichinoseki this year.
According to the organizers “it was an epic ride with sun, rain, wind, fog, and a treacherous descent from Mount Bandai!” However, “happy faces at the care homes” let the cyclists forget the huge physical challenges they faced during the journey.
Thanks to their courageous efforts, the KIWL could raise 8 million Yen that will go to projects supporting disadvantaged children and care homes. “That’s a lot of dreams come true for the beautiful children we met at the care home who deserve so much better,” says Robert Williams, organizer of the ride.
