Boyd & Moore helped Agilent place our Japan Country General Manager of Sales for our Semiconductor Products Group. That successful candidate went on to become the Japan Country Manager when Agilent subsequently divested that business to a private equity group. For that assignment, it was the first time that Agilent Japan had sought for an external candidate to fill a GM level position. That reflected a need for a business leader who has a multinational mindset and could initiate and lead the necessary change, yet retain the positive aspects of our corporate culture that Agilent has further built from our HP heritage. Tony understood our business needs and shortlisted candidates that met with our requirements. It was a pleasure to work with Tony and throughout the assignment he provided professional advice and support to Agilent and guided the candidates through the several rounds of interview process. It was one of the more seamless search assignments that I have handled to date working with a professional search firm – a pleasant surprise as the Japan market has traditionally been, and still is, one of the most difficult markets to find mid-management and executive talent for multinational companies operating in Japan.
